4. Provide Educational Materials
The Burn Fund sets up an educational display at the Royal Jubilee Hospital each year for Burn Awareness Week. Burn Awareness Week is a coast-to-coast campaign in Canada and the United States dedicated to Providing the public with information and materials on a variety of subjects relating to burn injuries and their prevention.
Once a year the Burn Fund provides baby bags to new moms in our community through the Welcome Wagon. The bags contain many safety items and prevention teaching tips for the care of their new baby.
Educational materials or set up of the prevention display can be provided as requested for community events.
