How the Burn Fund Works

Most of our donations come from the people in the Greater Victoria area.  We depend on funds raised through a fundraising company, private donors, and other charitable organizations (Victoria Foundation, United Way, Canada Helps).

All the donations received are used exclusively to support the aims and projects of the Burn Fund, including the maintenance and upkeep of the Burn House.

We would not be able to continue our work without your financial support.

**Permissive Tax Exemption**

To the Mayor & Council and the citizens of Victoria:

On behalf of the Firefighters Burn Fund, Victoria, B.C. Board of Directors, we would like to take this opportunity to Thank you for your generous contribution via the “Permissive Tax Exemption Program” These funds allow us to continue to provide support and comfort to the Burn patients and their families, as well as vital equipment, and necessary education for staff members of the RJH.
