Gerald D. Lister began his distinguished career in Fire Services in 1970 as a Probationer Firefighter with the Victoria Fire Department. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant in 1995 and further progressed to the rank of Captain in 1996, retired 2002 with the last three years as Battalion Chief.
